who’s going to watch this ai-generated slop?

I’ve heard that question more than a few times — often meant as an insult.

My answer has always been the same: the same people already watching most of what traditional producers, studios, and platforms are putting out. Much of it wouldn’t exist if "quality" was truly the hill creative execs were willing to die on.

There’s also a big overestimation of how much audiences actually care how something was made. Most don’t. Content is a commodity — until something truly exceptional comes along, and it may very well be AI-generated.

And let’s be honest: that kind of mind-blowing content? It’s been out of stock for a while now.
